Three miners secretly plot a rebellion against their bosses. However, before they can act, their masks distort their vision, causing them to perceive each other as monstrous mutants. Panic and confusion lead to a violent clash, resulting in one miner killing his innocent friends, dooming their rebellion before it even began.
